Credential Use Policy

Effective date: 29 August 2026. This policy governs the use of Assurevance credentials, certificates, digital badges, and verification links.

1. When use is allowed

A credential holder may use the unmodified certificate and badge only while the official verification page reports the credential as Active, and only in connection with the legal entity, programme, approved scope, and validity dates shown there.

2. How to present a credential

Use the exact credential title and approved scope. Link digital badges to the official verification page wherever technically practical. Keep the QR code and certificate number legible. Describe the credential as issued by Assurevance LLC; do not describe it as ISO certification, accredited certification, government approval, or third-party endorsement unless that statement is expressly authorised and substantiated.

3. Prohibited use

  • Do not alter, forge, edit, obscure, crop misleadingly, or recreate a certificate or badge.
  • Do not transfer, sell, sublicense, or lend a credential to another person, organisation, site, or product.
  • Do not use a credential after it expires, is suspended, revoked, or replaced.
  • Do not imply a credential applies to locations, products, services, people, or scopes that are not shown in the public record.
  • Do not use the Issuer’s marks in a way that is deceptive, defamatory, unlawful, or suggests an unapproved relationship.

4. Status changes and corrections

The public registry is authoritative. When a status changes, the holder must promptly remove or correct badge and certificate displays, claims, proposals, and marketing material. We may require corrective action or disable access where use is inaccurate or misleading.

5. Reporting misuse

Report suspected misuse, a false credential, or a verification discrepancy to with the verification URL and supporting detail. We may investigate and update the registry where appropriate.
